I work very hard to make a perfect meal. Every stock is homemade. Everything is tasted again and again. If it doesn’t meet my standards, I deem it home-use only – meaning only my husband and the dogs get that batch. There is one couple that I adore cooking for – Sybil and Simon. They not only appreciate the effort, but can understand each and every element. When I served the creamed spinach to Simon, his first words were that he detected some nutmeg – of course he was right. They are the best of the best – I feel lucky to cook for them.
